Exploiting short news reports, economic reports etc (Spanish resources)

The resources below are based on an article from BBC Mundo about a report showing that wine production remains stable globally...
http://www.bbc.co.uk/mundo/ultimas_noticias/2011/11/111108_ultnot_vinos_lp.shtml

There are 11 pdf files all based on the same text.

There is also the TaskMagic3 Mix&Gap file (mtx3) from which the pdfs were printed (using doPDF - http://www.dopdf.com), and which provides access to 18 interactive exercises for use with PCs and / or an IWB. This file requires TaskMagic3. If you don't have TaskMagic3, you can get a free 30-day trial from http://www.mdlsoft.co.uk/trialdownloads.htm (Just download it, there's no registration required.)

See image below shows the student front page for this Mix&Gap file in TaskMagicPlay. The small thumbnails that you can see on the screenshot show the links to the 18 interactive exercises.

It takes a matter of minutes to convert any news article like this one into a load of worksheets and interactive resources which recycle the same content in lots of different ways.

See http://www.mdlsoft.co.uk/mixandgap.htm for more info about the Mix&Gap component of TaskMagic3.
