French recipe resources (ratatouille)

Here are some resources that I made based on a recipe sent to the mflresources group earlier this year. (If you don't know this group, it really is worth joining - there are over 4000 members and lots of sharing of ideas and resources for language teachers.)

The resources are based on a recipe in French for ratatouille. (The same idea can be applied to any recipe, letter, poem, song, etc.)

There are 8 pdf files in all, all printed using dopdf - http://www.dopdf.com
5 of the pdfs are based on a Mix and Gap file containing the recipe. The other 3 are based on vocab from the recipe, printed from a Text Match file (which was automatically generated based on the vocab items in the Find the French activity in the Mix and Gap file).

I've also included the Mix and Gap file (mtx3) and the Text Match file (mdl3). These files provide a wide variety of interactive exercises for use with PCs or with an interactive whiteboard. They require TaskMagic3. If you don't have TaskMagic3, you can get a free 30-day trial download from http://www.mdlsoft.co.uk/trialdownloads.htm (no registration required - just download it).

The pictures at the bottom show the student front pages for Mix&Gap and TextMatch. Each sccreen has lots of little exercise thumbnails, which are links to the various interactive exercises.
